The Grippa has been designed to suspend safety nets beneath horizontal steel beams. It has been independently tested in accordance with the dynamic load requirements of BSEN1263-1 and provides a safe secure means of attachment. Rigging Notes Always ensure that the nets cross over beneath the beam. Loads will always be applied to the metal parts (the webbing strap is simply to hold the device onto the beam). Although maximum rigging centres of 2.5m can be used, in practice to avoid wasting of the net 1.8m centres are recommended. When gathering the net to take out excessive sag each strand should be looped into the hook. Dropping from height may distort the metal parts and cause abrasion or cutting of the webbing.
